Drying Apples for Crafts

I needed to make some dried apples for a craft project I was working on so I thought I would show you how I do it.
Slice apples about 1/4 inch thick
Add 2 teas salt to approx 2 cups of lemon juice
Soak apples for 20 minutes to prevent browning
Take slices out and blot dry
Bake at 150* (single layer) on cookie sheet
until dried, should take approx 3-4 hrs.

This was always such a fun craft for me to do. I haven't done it for a couple years now but seems I did a big batch every year for a long time...I made many a things from them.

Thank you. I've attempted drying fruit before and it wasn't pretty. I'll try this method.
