Trash Chest Make Over

I love to find things that I can remake into treasures, so I thought I would do a weekly post on some projects I have completed. I seem to gravitate toward painting everything black these days, since a few years ago everything in my house was white and shabby chic/cottage, lol.
This was a found treasure from someones trash.

Everything looks better with a coat of paint!

It looks wonderful! I tend to choose white instead of black :-), though I always like your black make-overs! But if I started painting black, I'd have to change everything in my house.

I like the legs of the chest. Is 'curved' the right word for it? Oh well, you know what i mean.

Love this! Can I ask you a question? Can you come over and fix up my end tables for me? I've been little miss lazy as far as prim crafts and projects go and my end tables are in serious need of some prim magic! haha But seriously, you do such a great job on these projects!

Being an antique store owner I cringe at folks painting old pieces, but in this case you did a great job! Take care, Janice

I've got 2 of these that need to be done but will have to wait. I think I'll do mine in black, too!
