The Village Peddler

I took some pictures of my all time favorite shops this fall and wanted to share them with you! My first stop was Plano Illinois to The Village Peddler, then I went to Sandwich Illinois to The Red Geranium and Farmers Daughter. Sandwich is about 60 miles southwest of the city. They were very kind and allowed me to take photos of their shops to share with you. Each of the next 3 days I will share a different shop and give you  their contact information. If you are ever in the Chicago-land area add these to your must visit list! I try to go there at the beginning of each season and of course Autumn and Winter are my favorites!

The cutest porch, full of bargains!

Sooo much to see, they have the best selection of holiday decor!

Gobble til ya wobble.lol

Ummm yes, tons of great things look at that back wall!

Need a candle, they have a bazzillion!

The soothing aqua room! ahhhh
Yes they have clothing, jewelry, bags, lovely, lovely bags!

Of course I found many lovely treasures while I was here, I am crazy for their table linens and bought 2 sets of placemats with matching napkins and the cutest hen napkin rings and oh my, the best smelling 1803 melter (tart warmer) candles in my favorite scent Grandma's Kitchen. I should have bought more of those but I was so distracted by all the lovelies! lol.

Morning Michelle,
What a fun tour.

Now I only live 80 miles from Chicago but never seem to get South...I will have to make a point of visiting some of these shops.

Thanks for sharing

Next time I visit my family in the northern suburbs of Chicago, I'll drive to Plano, ILL with a large suitcase full of dollars :). This shop looks great!
