Swap Goodies

I make a habit of always sending my swaps out early, email a thank you right away and always share a post of what I received. I received my goodies a week ago and although I let Wendy know my post would be late because I left my camera at my moms this week. But late last night I got my camera and wanted to take my pictures so I could show you all the lovely gifts I received. I have to admit, I have been a bit disappointed in some of my swap partners in the last 3 months: 2 partners never thanked me and four partners have never done a thank you post at all. It has really made me sad. There is no excuse for bad manners. Sorry to say, I'm on a swap strike!   So Wendy please forgive me for being late with this post! Without further ado, here are my goodies....

Such sweet gifts!
Isn't he the cutest! I call him "my Amish bear"
I love all of my goodies from Wendy, she is super talented and really took the time to make me things I would enjoy. I love my uncle Sam and have always wanted one! She sent some award winning pumpkin seeds to me and I'm going to see if my son and Annie will plant them in their garden . You can click here and see what I sent her. Thanks to Lynn for hosting this fun swap!
Sorry to be so crabby about the swaps, but I guess it is really bothering me!

I don't blame you at all about swaps. It is not a mandatory thing to sign up for them so if you are not going to follow through then you should not sign up for them. I actually have had good luck but I have only just started doing swaps. However I know the person I sent my last swap package to received it because I have the confirmation number but I have heard nothing from her. I also did not receive a package from her and it was supposed to be mailed out almost 2 weeks ago. So sad.
Wendy did a good job on this one! I love what you got! The little Amish bear is so cute.
Have a great week!
Be blessed!

It is hard when other people don't live up to their part of the bargain, Michelle. I have won a couple of giveaways that never materialized. I finally contacted the one gal (thinking maybe she had mailed it and I missed getting it) There was no response and she actually took her blog down.

Speaking of which I have been promising YOU an Amish book that I haven't sent yet..lol...but you know I love you~ This WEEK-Pinky Promise and NO thank you post necessary! xo Diana

I just got burned on a swap for the first time, thank goodness it was a swap I hosted and it wasn't one of my participants that got burned...I would have felt really bad if that had happened. I'll tell you what though, I shared the person's name with another swap hostess so she is aware if the person wants to be in one of her swaps (I need to let a couple of others know too).

I love to post about swaps I received because everyone loves to see what you receive and I love to read the comments about what I sent to someone too! We are proud and put a lot of thought into what we make and send for people so it hurts when they don't share it with everyone on their blog or even if they don't have a blog a hostess is usually more than happy to post a TY for them.

Sorry, off on a tangent! Sparkly...:)

Anyway, love your goodies from Wendy!

Love ,
Kendra

Hi Michelle-No need to apologize for your swap problems. We put alot of time and effort into creating things our partners would love, and when you get nothing in return, it can really hurt! I've been there too. I'm glad you enjoyed your goodies. I tried to include some Amish items, Americana and the saltbox and willows too. Thank you again for all the lovely goodies you sent me!
Blessings

Well I can't say as I blame you one bit...I've been burned many times in swaps - but the last couple I was in I KNEW WERE GOING TO WORK OUT AND BE GOOD!!!! But that isn't always the case.
Your goodies from the swap are beautiful...the bear is adorable.

I have a question - I see there are ads in many of the blogs...you have one just below this post - can you tell my why? Is it something you ask for or do they just get put there by the ad makers??? Or blogger???
Just curious.
