Wooden Shelf Redo

I love to find things that I can remake into treasures, so I thought I would do a weekly post on some projects I have completed. I seem to gravitate toward painting everything black these days when a few years ago everything in my house was white and shabby chic/cottage,  I updated this a couple of years ago but wanted to share it with you anyways.  You can find these "country" shelves second hand easily and since I wanted something for over my love seat this was the perfect solution. It's amazing what a little paint can do.

Hello, What a great job. I wish I had time for projects. Just trying to finish spring cleaning is a chore. However, I did manage to make a batch of strawberry jam yesterday. Michelle I want to share that I enjoy reading your postings. Anna

Very nice and it makes me think to get myself in gear and find one of my shelves in storage. Richard

Looks great. And the painting on top of the shelf gives it that little extra.
