Yoders Hardware

I thought I would share some photos with you of an awesome store I always go to when I'm in Indiana. It's called Yoder's Hardware and its in Shipshewana. They sell everything but the kitchen sink. They have shoes, clothes, hardware, collectibles, ..... and the best fabric selection around. Here are a few favorite.

If your ever in the area, check it out and bring your credit card. lol

I love Yoders!!! Been there several times as I only live a little over an hour away. Shipsey is so full of wonderful shops. I currently sell to A Thankful Heart but love stopping in at all the other wonderful stores in this quaint little town. And the flea market...oh such fun!

hugs and smiles,
Carol

I was just there! I live about an hour from Shipshewana and go down once a month for groceries. I have been enjoying reading your blog, because I too, love the simple pleasures in life!

Yoders is always my first stop when we go to Shipshewana. There's just something about that store! There are so many treasures to be found in Shipshewana, what a great place. Used to live close but now live in NY, don't get there as often as I would like. Thankfully we have family to come back and visit and work in a trip at the same time!!
Great Blog!

Hi Michelle

I'm very interested in the Amish, but as I don't live in the USA, I've learned almost everything out of books. And 'Shipshewana' rings a bell. Is that Amish Country?

I'd be in heaven in that store. I went to a Yoder's with my husbands family so many years ago. They lived in Western Pa and this was right on the border crossing over into Maryland. They sold all the Amish goods, mostly food. I was hoping to visit Lancaster this year and I was hoping it was on my birthday but we have a wedding. I will be missing out on some good barn & yard sales. I wish I could visit all the areas that the Amish are at, at some point. I want to visit where they are in Ohio, Upstate NY and Indiana. I just love them.
Thanks for sharing this post.
