I would like to share with you a lovely shoppe called Farmer's Daughter. They are located on Main Street just south of Rte 34 in Sandwich Illinois. It's the cutest shop ever, filled with great treasure for any country, primitive lover! I bought a few goodies when I was there and let me tell you, I fell in love with the blue wing back chair that I have pictured below! With wonderful hospitality and a great selection of goods, this is a shop to add to your must visit list. if you are ever in the area!
Don't you just love this wagon!
Adorable displays are everywhere!
So cozy!!!
They have lots of candles!
Here it is the most beautiful chair ever... Oh how I love thee! lol
Need a swag, they have a great selection!
Another candle mat I loved and forgot to purchase!
I had a wonderful time visiting some of my favorite shops and I hope that if you are ever in the area,
you will take the time to visit them also! We have to do our part to keep the independent shop keepers in business!

I have to agree about the wing chair...I'm loving the oversize chair too.

Oh what a great store! I love how it's in a house and allows you to see what things may look like in real rooms instead of a shop floor. Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute place...and so much to see!!! I love to support local businesses and try to do so as much as possible. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI love it when others share the shops they have been to. I have to live vicariously through them because there is nothing even remotly close to looking like that around here. TFS. -Steph-
ReplyDeleteThe shop looks cute. I'd probably be inside for hours. You're right about supporting local businesses. It's probably the same in the US as it is here: the shoppes struggle to survive next to the big box stores. I used to work in a little independent book shop ...
