I've wanted to purchase a tray for my toilet tank, but I just can't justify spending $45, no matter how nice they are. I decided to make one myself! I've been keeping my eye out for something I thought might work and for $1.99 I found this at Good Will. Here's the before and after:

This works really well for me, no more stuff slipping off the oddly curved tank top. What do you think? Cool ha!

Oh my you know what is so funny about this? I wanted a tray for the kitchen and the bathroom. Same spot you did. I ended up finding some to redo as well at a thrift store. One of them looks like it is the EXACT same tray you have lol. What a coincidence! Unfortunately I don't think either will fit in the bathroom so I have to find a different spot for one. Yours looks really good!
ReplyDeleteLove how it turned out.Warm Blessings!~Amy
ReplyDeleteI'd say that's Prim Perfect Michele! I love your colors in the bathroom..Soft and warm..

That looks great! I know-when you need to use the back of a toilet for storage and decorative purposes it is almost impossible to keep things from slipping off. Good job, kiddo! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteLooks so nice!
ReplyDeleteThat looks great! I've never thought about decorating my toilet tank, but why not??? I'm just wondering, where do you push the button to flush haha :-).

Very creative!
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine gave me one for Christmas but for some reason I put it on my counter and it holds my kleenex, hand cream, etc.
Theses are just so darned handy no matter where they are put.
Great makeover....gotta love that GW!!
